Our feature pick of the week is a long-side candidate. Frugalpalooza is coming to the masses, and today we give you the inside track on our latest idea. (Note – we typically release our Pick-of-the-Week candidate in our weekly email. If you are not on that distribution list, click here to sign up).
We’ve been searching far and wide for companies that will benefit as consumers spend less, save more, dial down their consumption, and seek tremendous value for their hard-earned dollar. Netflix (NFLX) is ramping on the back of a poor economy. Folks are staying home, going to the movies less, and searching for deals. Netflix delivers in spades. They also have a relationship with Microsoft’s XBOX to deliver movies via broadband…you don’t even have to go to your mailbox anymore.
NFLX management is pushing the envelope in an effort to stay ahead of the competition. NFLX presents an opportunity at current prices in an overall lousy environment. Good Luck.
